Because, in reality, WIN7 is merely Vista SP3. Furthermore, if you have been suffering with Vista Ultimate, and decide to do an in-place upgrade with WIN7 Ultimate, you actually LOSE your Vista Ultimate Extras; for some reason, Microsoft has decided that merely ignoring the users that spent the most money on their flagship operating system, and not giving them the Extras they thought they were paying for, wasn't enough; they deliberately UNINSTALL the few "Extras" they actually bothered to provide you!!!
What a joke.
